GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.
A little clarity goes a long way.
The essentials for planning a meaningful educational experience with your school.
Which grades are the structured programmes designed for?
The current structured programmes are designed specifically for Grades 6–9, with one level for Grades 6–7 and another for Grades 8–9. The difference includes facilitation depth, complexity and developmental focus.
Where does EduWay work?
EduWay works with schools in Cape Town and surrounding regions. The venue and final programme are agreed with the school during planning.
How much does a programme cost?
One-day programmes range from R1,100–R1,450 per learner. Overnight programmes range from R2,400–R3,800 per learner. The final amount depends on group size, programme category, venue and distance, and is confirmed before commitment.
Is transport included?
Transport to and from the venue is not included unless specifically agreed during planning. Schools arrange transport through their own providers in line with school transport policy.
How far in advance should we enquire?
Allow a minimum of 2–3 weeks for one-day programmes and 4–6 weeks for overnight programmes. Available dates are discussed during programme planning.
Do accompanying educators need to run the activities?
EduWay manages facilitation, grouping, activity flow, timing and coordination. Accompanying educators provide supervision and maintain learner discipline in line with school policy.
What administration support is included?
Schools receive a programme outline, day schedule, editable parent communication template, consent documentation, learner information and medical checklist, and preparation notes where applicable. The full admin pack is provided within 48 hours of booking confirmation.
Can parents fund the programme?
Yes. A school-funded model uses one school invoice. A parent-funded model is also available, with communication templates, payment tracking support and a clear deadline structure. Terms are confirmed at booking.
When are payments due?
A deposit is required to secure the programme date. Final balances are due before delivery unless agreed otherwise in writing. The specific payment terms are confirmed at booking.
What happens if the weather changes?
For outdoor components affected by weather, indoor alternatives help keep the programme on track. Schools are told about these alternatives before the programme runs.
Can we postpone or cancel?
With reasonable notice, EduWay prioritises rescheduling wherever possible. Cancellation terms are set out in the booking confirmation. Contact the coordinator to discuss changes.
What support is available after the programme?
On request, schools can receive a programme summary report, teacher debrief notes, learner reflection worksheets, print-ready participation certificates and follow-up classroom tools. Post-programme support is ready within five working days.
Will learners be photographed?
EduWay does not photograph or record learners without confirmed school permission. Media is only used where the school has the appropriate consents in place.
