Supervision throughout the programme
EduWay facilitators and coordinators manage learner movement, group transitions and activity supervision. Accompanying educators maintain learner discipline responsibility in line with school policy.
Venue checks and weather planning
Venues are checked before programmes run. Outdoor activities have weather contingency plans, communicated to the school in advance. Indoor alternatives are designed to keep learning on track.
A clear briefing before each activity
Learners are briefed on rules, boundaries and what to do if something goes wrong. They are expected to listen and acknowledge the briefing before an activity begins.
The information that helps us prepare
Schools provide medical notes, emergency contacts, dietary requirements and relevant learner support information before the programme date. The lead coordinator reviews it and keeps it available throughout the day. Please arrange a suitable sharing method with your coordinator rather than placing sensitive learner details in the website enquiry form.
Emergency procedures
A clear emergency procedure is maintained on every programme. Schools have a direct contact number for the lead coordinator. In a medical incident, the sequence is to respond immediately, contact parents and notify the school.
Professional standards and child protection
Programme delivery is conducted within professional standards appropriate for working with school-aged learners. This applies to all staff, facilitators and coordinators.
Photography and permissions
EduWay does not photograph or record learners without confirmed school permission. Media is only used where the school has the appropriate consents in place.
